Predating European arrival my ancestors upheld a simple philosophy that
high-lighted individual values and beliefs while also improving perception.
The simple philosophy is called the Red Road, The Corn Pollen Way. The idea is
to live a holistic lifestyle in a sacred manner. This traditional path did not
demand perfection, it did not instill self-righteousness nor was it a religious
dogma that required attendance or subscription. According to oral teaching
(spoken in my Native language) it is my understanding that this traditional
path allows an individual to find a BALANCED focus in their life. The focus is
up to the individual, for every person’s journey is different.
To attain a peaceful BALANCE “the way” will intuitively and spiritually reveal a
necessity to be a person of, humility, honesty, integrity and respect. When that
happens courtesy and compassion flood the conscience so that the individual
might exercise the virtues listed above. It is then, that enlightenment and
harmonious balance manifest and radiate from the practitioner. “The Way” is
administered through, prayer, song, meditation, exercise and example. Love
replaces hate, grace expels grudge, tranquility overshadows turmoil and
identity courts confidence.

BOE founder Gary Red Corn Maloney wrote this.

"BOE’s circle represents love, equality and community. To identify love, equality and community in
its truest context requires us to hold one another accountable in regards of sharing responsibility.
Our responsibility is to create an environment which expels hate, bigotry, ignorance and judgement.
The creation of such an environment is possible when we as architects have a conscience that is
pure and free of malignant desires. We are architects because we build on one another’s strengths
and qualities to ensure a safe haven for our children. We are also cultivators because we weed out
hinderances that take essential nutrients that supplement our dignity, integrity and identity. As
cultivators we will also bask in the warm welcoming rays of the sun in terms of earned reward for
capturing currency. We vow to keep a healthy stock of timeless virtues so that our circle defines love
in all its beautiful and beneficial forms."

Our founder Redcorn wrote,   Balance- " B.O.E solutes and acknowledges the Native American Medicine Wheel for all its deep esoteric meanings. Of the many meanings it represents, there is one that encompasses human integrity and dignity in which; COMPASSION, RESPECT, REVERENCE and COURTESY formulate a simple recipe that mitigates our common issues, encourages self-improvement and restores a Balance in our individual Identity. "

Offers-

the native American medicine wheel also represents the four colors of all people unified in communal love. Each color is equally portioned to indicate equality. East is yellow, south is red, west is black, and north is white.

Hope, the belief that these challenges and conditions can be overcome, is the foundation of recovery. The process of recovery is highly personal and occurs via many pathways. Recovery is characterized by continual growth and improvement in one’s health and wellness that may involve setbacks. Because setbacks are a natural part of life, resilience becomes a key component of recovery.

The process of recovery is supported through relationships and social networks. Some of us do this by attending meetings on a regular basis, using the 12 steps of Wellbriety, AA or Alanon, working with a sponsor and developing a relationship with our higher power.  We support you in your chosen path.
