Intergenerational Trauma

 Before bringing to attention any recovery framework, the Indigenous American has deep repressed feelings of why rezervation life is depressing and dysfunctional. Resentments have festered for generations and it is arguably the foundation of my community's prevalent issues. 

  

Generational trauma, forced assimilation and systematic oppression are cornerstones to my people's grief, sorrow, and shame. It is a fact that we as Native's are a product of our environment. I am going to support reasons why we aren't victims to the circumstances within the environment
